Many forums host a WordPress blog or other resources on their site. Unfortunately, until now, there hasn’t been an integrated solution to search over blog and other content alongside your forum posts. Today, we’re launching Custom Search Tabs, which allows you to integrate content from your WordPress blog or other resources in your Threadloom search results.
Ever search for something on a forum and wish you could quickly drill into a specific category? Or see who the top posters are for that particular search and narrow the results instantly to the top three users' posts? Or easily view all sold or closed items based on a thread prefix?
For a while now, our customers have been able to get general site search stats via Google Analytics. Today, I'm pleased to announce that Threadloom Search Reports are available to all customers.
Thread prefixes are a great way to help users quickly identify what category a post belongs to. We're happy to announce today that we now support XenForo thread prefixes in Threadloom search. Not only will thread prefixes now show up in search results, but you can also filter search results by prefix, simply by typing [prefix:myprefix]; and for the more adventurous amongst us, you can combine that with any of our other advanced search operators.
